This is a full time, permanent position. You will be employed directly by the school and not working through an agency. It is an exciting opportunity to work in a well regarded and progressive school which specialises in teaching students who require additional support and have had difficulty in engaging in mainstream education. The school is totally focused on providing an inclusive education with an alternative curriculum to meet the needs of the students. The school supports pupils from Key Stage 3 and 4. The school environment is fast paced with a commitment towards empathy and compassion to ensure their students receive the best education possible and removing barriers to their progress.

The role is to start as soon as possible. As a vocational teacher you will be multi-disciplined to deliver up to level 2 in subjects including: careers, Science, PE, Wellbeing, Enrichment, Equality and Diversity, Art (this list is not exhaustive). You will develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives and facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students, and by their organisation of learning resources and the classroom learning environment. NQTs will be considered and the school would be committed to supporting your induction year.
