About Redapple
Company Overview
Red Apple Education was officially opened on 1st September 2014.
Since then we have experienced rapid growth and have become the fastest growing agency on the Wirral.
We are totally unique as we are the only agency in the UK run by a former Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher. We have a combined experience of over 30 years in education, most of which was at senior management level.
All of our schools were judged as “Outstanding” by Ofsted.
We have a complete understanding of schools, the culture, the pressure and the demands. Equally we understand the pressures faced by supply and temporary staff and provide ongoing support for all staff that are registered with us.
We support establishments at all levels within the educational spectrum; Nursery, Primary School, Secondary School, SEN, Behavioural and Further Education establishments.
We support all levels of staff employment and recruitment from Caretakers and Cleaners, to office staff, teaching assistants, cover supervisors, newly qualified teachers and teachers. We also support schools with senior management appointments and provide end to end recruitment solutions.
We fully understand the needs of our schools and those of our staff. We work closely with our schools so we understand their culture and ethos. This allows us to appoint the appropriate staff to their school but also allows us to tailor our services to meet their specific needs.
Our Aims
We want to be the “Agency of Choice” for our schools and our staff.
We have a high ethical and moral ethos and we are totally committed to supporting our schools in all areas of education and supporting our staff from initial placement through to securing them full time employment.
We are committed to paying our staff more and charging our schools less. This is a commitment we have not yet been beaten on but one we can achieve because unlike other agencies we are not driven by financial targets but rather the commitment of finding the right candidate for our schools and school for our candidates.
Our Values
We have a very strong moral and ethical ethos within our company at the centre of which is our unswerving dedication to providing a high quality service for our schools and for our staff.
Our new staff are integrated into our culture and we promote our values at every opportunity to ensure they are embedded in our business and our people.
We are passionate about providing you with the right staff to complement your aspirations and ethos. With our experience of working in schools we know the importance of a stable work force and when at times key staff are absent, we are always there to maintain continuity and bring short-term quality solutions.
We are very proud of the staff that we have registered with us and we are committed to support them through their career with free professional development and free mentoring. We have 24-hours support in place for any of our staff that need guidance or assistance.
We believe staff should be paid a fair rate of pay for the work they undertake but we also believe schools should not be held to ransom over the short term appointment of staff and as such we are committed to paying our staff more and charging our schools less.
We are not driven by financial targets but rather making a difference and ensuring our schools get the very best support and value for money. A policy of not charging a ‘finders’ or ‘introduction’ fee to schools reinforces these values.
Naturally with over 30 years combined experience of working in schools we fully understand the significance of Safeguarding and Child Protection and we have a rigorous and robust approach when vetting our staff.
We are proud of what we have achieved to date and we value the relationships we have developed with our schools and our staff. As we continue to grow we welcome the opportunity of working with more schools and staff and would encourage you to get in touch and experience our outstanding service first hand.
Compliance
At Red Apple Education we understand and embrace the need for rigour and robust procedures and polices when it comes to Child Protection, Safeguarding and Safer Recruitment. With over 25 years of experience of working in schools and having been subject to a number of Section 5 Ofsted Inspections it is safe to say that we fully understand what is required for schools and we extend those expectations to our company and our recruitment of staff. We have in place a rigorous pre-employment process which is supported by regular monitoring post registration.
We are totally committed to acting with honesty and transparency in all that we do with a high ethical and moral expectation. This is evidenced in our commitment to producing a Customer Charter which is at the heart of everything that we do.
We are also committed to fairer recruitment and having an equitable approach to working with our staff and schools and we reflect our approach in our Equality and Diversity Policy.
The respective policies and procedures are attached for your perusal, just click on the respective document and it will open as a PDF.
