We are working with a secondary school located in Liverpool who require a cover supervisor to start with them from Monday, 15th April 2024.

This is a full time role working 32.5 hours per week. The role will run to the end of the summer term, July 2024.

You will mainly be working with Year 7 to Year 9 pupils. The role of cover supervisor is to deputise in lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher. You do not need to be a teacher to be a cover supervisor as the work is already set for the pupils. You will be present to ensure the lesson progresses as expected, managing behaviour and providing as much support to pupils as possible.

The role of cover supervisor provides a wonderful opportunity for candidates to develop their understanding of working in schools, their classroom management techniques and equally their behaviour management skills.

Whether you are a graduate with an interest of working in education or someone with experience of working in schools, the role of cover supervisor will provide you with a wonderful opportunity to further develop your skills. It is a challenging but rewarding role.
