We are recruiting for a Job Coach to start as soon as possible.

The role is to work Monday to Thursday each week and is a long term (fixed term contract - to Friday, 19th July 2024). You will work 28 hours per week although this has the potential to increase but this would be discussed with you when in role.

You will be providing 1-1 support to a student who is entering employment through an internship. The student has an EHCP and will be located with an employer close to Liverpool City Centre. You may be located at more than one location during this employment so having the ability to drive and access to a vehicle is desirable although, not essential.

The student will be employed and you will be with them to support them in the role. You will work closely with the student and also with the employer to ensure that the pupil gets the best support they can and can be the best that they can in the role. The student can work relatively independent and is keen to do so but your support even at light touch level, will be required through the day.

Many of the skills and attributes required for a SEN teaching assistant role are also required for the job coach role however the key difference is that you will be providing targeted and defined 1-1 student support and it is in an employment setting as oppose to educational. You will work closely with ourselves (Red Apple Education) and the respective schools we are supporting.

This is a fixed term role. You will be paid monthly, PAYE. You will be paid through the half term(s).

Training is organised for February 2024 which you will be included in .
