We are working with an outstanding SEN primary school, located in Birkenhead (Wirral) who require an SEN teaching assistant to start with them in September 2026.

This role is full time and long term.

There is also the possibility that the role will become permanent but this will not be confirmed until closer to the end date, and will be subject to performance and suitability.

The role is to provide support for small groups of pupils helping them to access the curriculum and supporting them in their development, both personally and academically.

The successful candidate must have experience of working in a similar role. You will have experience of working in challenging educational situations with the ability to deescalate and develop relationships. You will be consistent in your approach and resilient, with a passion for working with pupils and helping them overcome their personal and academic barriers.
