We are looking to recruit a Job Coach for an immediate start.

This will be a part time role to start with working 3 days (19.5 hours) per week. However, there is scope for these hours to increase. If the role increases to full time, then that will equate to 32.5 hours per week.

The will be a fixed term contract working. Your hours of attendance will be between 8.30am to 4pm each day, Monday to Friday. You will work 3-days per week.

This is a fixed term contact, and will run to the 31st July 2025. Your contract is annualised which means you are paid through the half terms including Christmas and Easter.

The salary will be confirmed on application.

You will be supporting a student who will be working with a local employer. You will meet the student at the employer each morning and they will be collected each afternoon, at the end of the working day.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role. You will have a passion for working with children with SEN and helping them overcome their barriers to be the best that they can be. You will have a tolerance and understanding to nurture the student so they can work to their strengths and develop those areas where they need additional support. You will have the ability to work with autonomy in a professional manner at all times. You will be reliable and punctual - the student will always depend on you for this.

The role of the job coach is almost a hybrid of an SEN teaching assistant and learning mentor.

You must have an up to date (on the Update Service) and clear DBS. If you do not have a DBS, we can assist you with securing one.
