We are looking to recruit a Job Coach for an immediate start.

The will be a fixed term contract working 25 hours per day. Your hours of attendance will be 9.45am to 2.45pm each day, Monday to Friday.

This is a 8-month, fixed term role. Your contract is annualised which means you are paid through the half terms including Christmas and Easter.

The salary for this contact is £15,690.00.

You will be supporting a student who will be working with a local employer. You will meet the student at the employer each morning and they will be collected each afternoon, at the end of the working day.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role. You will have a passion for working with children with SEN and helping them overcome their barriers to be the best that they can be. You will have a tolerance and understanding to nurture the student so they can work to their strengths and develop those areas where they need additional support. You will have the ability to work with autonomy in a professional manner at all times. You will be reliable and punctual - the student will always depend on you for this.

The role of the job coach is almost a hybrid of an SEN teaching assistant and learning mentor.

This is a very exciting, rewarding and fulfilling role.

You must have an update to date (on the Update Service) and clear DBS. If you do not have a DBS, we can assist you with securing one.
